JinGoo draws inspiration from the melodious voices of orioles found in ancient Chinese poems. Just like the poems, this wireless audio light creates a warm and leisurely corner in your home, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.
What sets JinGoo apart is its ability to produce both beautiful light and sound. With powerful lithium batteries and energy-saving LED lamps, you can enjoy music playback throughout the day on a single charge. The wooden cage base acts as a powerful subwoofer, encased by a wired metal cage and wood frame.
The bird-shaped ceramic body of JinGoo is meticulously crafted using traditional kilns and ceramic decal techniques. The colors and patterns on the bird's body conform to its curved surface, creating a visually stunning piece of art.
JinGoo features a mono 2-way speaker system, with a low-frequency woofer speaker positioned in the base structure. The sound waves are reflected by the ceramic tail of the bird, creating a wide stereo effect when combined with sound waves from the tweeter in the bird's body.
Technical specifications of JinGoo include dimensions of 180mm x 180mm x 280mm, a battery lifetime of over 15 hours for music and light, a Li-ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4800mAh, and a 5W amplifier power. The design also incorporates Bluetooth 4.0 technology for seamless connectivity.
The JinGoo project started in January 2015 and was completed in February 2016 in Taipei. The design team, led by Sean Chen and Lotta Tu, overcame the challenge of combining multiple materials such as ceramic, metal, wood, and plastic to create a harmonious and visually striking piece.
JinGoo has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Silver A' Design Award in 2016 in the Lighting Products and Fixtures category. This prestigious award is a testament to the remarkable level of expertise and creativity demonstrated by the designers.
With JinGoo, you can bring the beauty of traditional Oriental furnishings into your modern home. Immerse yourself in the harmonious blend of light and sound, and create a serene and enchanting atmosphere.
